Who recognizes this stupidity?

Ah yes, the mystery of the 7-11 in Pearl Drive.
Here’s the HISTORY. Bookmark it, send it to friends, show it off. This is the once in a lifetime opportunity that this will be explained, and you will get a chance to read it.
Once upon a time, when everyone in UA&P right now were still sniveling and sweat-producing grade schoolers and the campus was still filled with the offspring of congressmen and artistas and all those extremely rich people (what’s new, right?) this place was not a 7-11.
That spot is where Cin-Zeo used to stand.
Yes, there was a Cin-Zeo store near UA&P. And prior to Starbucks or to the McDo that we all know today, this was where you were supposed to meet when you had meetings and projects to be done.
This place is actually very historical for Politeia people (sorry Anima, just stating facts), because they proudly say that this is where they began. Ask any hardcore Politeia (you know who they are) and unless they weren’t listening when their elders were telling that story, they would know this.
But i digress. This pathway used to lead up the entrance of the now defunct Cin-Zeo. I did saw it partly, but halfway through my first year in UA&P, it disappeared, only to reappear during my second (or third, or fourth. don’t really remember) year, as a 7-11.
It has been standing there ever since.
Why don’t they tear it down? Well to be honest, tearing down a structure is very expensive. Unless that said structure is condemned, in which case tearing it down is mandatory, a lot of money will be required.
Take it from a UA&P alumni who loves to observe and keep tabs on stuff.
PS: if you do not know what a Cin-Zeo is, well I’ll be damned.

ilang beses ko balak sanang pumunta dito noon eh…and when i finally decided to, they were renovating it already…so sad…
